Your destination needs an AI team.
Right now, AI is answering thousands of visitor questions about your region. Some of those answers are wrong. Your team knows the real answers. They know the tides, the seasonal closures, the operator who just won that award. But that knowledge is locked in their heads, not in the systems AI actually reads. We’re building something that surfaces it.
Try this right now.
Open ChatGPT. Type: “Plan a 3-day trip to [your region].” Read what comes back.
Is it accurate? Are the right businesses mentioned? Does it know which roads need a 4WD? Does it warn about stinger season? Does it recommend that restaurant that closed two years ago?
Most Destination Marketing Organisations (DMOs) have never checked. When they do, they find outdated information, missing businesses, and generic advice that could describe any coastal town in Australia.
That’s the new front door to your destination. And right now, nobody’s minding the shop.

The wake-up call
Your visitor centre closes at 5pm. Your visitors don’t.
Flying blind
You spend six figures on marketing but have zero visibility into what AI tells visitors about your region. AI confidently recommends closed attractions, ignores safety warnings, and gives generic advice at scale. 24/7. Unlike a bad TripAdvisor review, you can’t flag an AI response for correction.
Your operators won’t do it
Every consultant says ‘update your Google Business Profile, add schema markup.’ 70% of tourism businesses won’t. A whale-watching captain with a 6am start isn’t updating schema markup at midnight. Knowing what to do and actually doing it at scale are entirely different problems.
You don’t own the data
Google, TripAdvisor, and OpenAI control how your region appears. Click-through rates drop from 15% to 8% when AI summaries appear. The shortlisting, the most commercially valuable moment in the purchase cycle, now happens inside the AI before anyone clicks a link.
Imagine this
It’s Monday morning. Here’s what already happened.
While you slept, 47 visitor questions were answered accurately, in 12 languages. Three operators got nudged about outdated Google hours. Two social posts are sitting in your inbox, ready for your review. A weekly briefing shows which experiences visitors are searching for that your region doesn’t cover yet.
You didn’t do any of it. Your team didn’t either. You just check the results and approve what goes live.
What Alfred produces every morning
Your region’s 5-Day Outlook. Auto-generated daily.
Weather, tides, swell, UV, and local events in one view. Generates at midnight, every night. Share it with operators, embed it on their websites, or download the PDF.
- ✓ Current conditions, 5-day forecast, sunrise and sunset
- ✓ Tide times, swell height and direction for coastal regions
- ✓ Local events scraped from tourism and council websites
- ✓ Shareable page, embeddable widget, and PDF download
- ✓ Zero manual work after setup. Runs every night automatically.
A quick explainer
What is an AI agent?
Think of it as a digital staff member with one job description. It works in the background, follows rules you set, and reports back. You review the output and approve what goes live. We’ve built seven of them. Each one handles a different part of destination management.
Meet your AI team
Seven agents. One dashboard. They never clock off.
Alfred
Visitor Concierge
Answers visitor questions 24/7 via chat, email, and embedded widget. Checks weather, knows stinger season, applies your safety rules.
Leo
Content Creator
Writes social posts and blog content grounded in real reviews and local knowledge. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok.
Argus
Data Custodian
Checks every operator’s Google profile weekly. Flags stale data. Calculates health scores. Sends operators a nudge when something needs fixing.
Flo
Analyst
Finds content gaps. Scores review sentiment. Shows you what visitors are searching for that your region doesn’t cover yet.
Ada
Learner
Watches chat patterns. Spots repeated questions. Suggests knowledge additions. Gets smarter over time.
Iris
Sentinel
Monthly AI health checks against ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. Flags drift, hallucinations, and missing businesses.
Coco
Seasonal Content
Tracks school holidays, stinger season, whale watching, local festivals. Triggers content and visitor answers that match what’s happening right now.
Now you’ve met them
Clear on what this isn’t.
Not a chatbot. Chatbots answer questions. Our concierge also checks the weather, knows stinger season, applies your safety rules, and tracks what visitors are really asking about.
Not another dashboard. We don’t give you a tool and wish you luck. The system does the work on its own and brings you the results.
Not a consulting engagement. No 6-month implementation. No $15,000 audit. Your region’s Google data gets scraped and you go live the same afternoon.
Not a replacement for your team. Your staff focus on strategy, relationships, and community. This handles the repetitive grind that burns them out.
Smarter together
They don’t just work. They work together.
Each agent feeds the others. The more they learn, the smarter your whole system gets.
What your week looks like
You stay in control. Without doing the grind.
Check your briefing
Flo sends a weekly summary: what visitors asked, what content was created, which operators need attention.
Review and approve
Social posts, blog drafts, and operator nudges sit in your queue. Approve, tweak, or reject. Nothing goes live without you.
Get back to real work
That’s it. 15 minutes. The rest of your day is strategy, partnerships, and community.
Why we built this
We got tired of action plans nobody could execute.
We’re Tourism Tribe. We’ve spent years training tourism operators and DMOs across Australia. We ran the workshops. We wrote the guides. We watched 70% of attendees nod along and change nothing.
So we stopped telling people what to do and started building something that does it for them. We built this with AI, the same way we expect it to work for you: fast, practical, no committee required. Regional Destination Marketing Organisations don’t have two years and $2 million to spend on an AI strategy. They need something that works this quarter, on a budget they can actually approve.
That’s what this is. Built by tourism people, for tourism people. Not by a tech company that’s never set foot in a visitor centre.
What you get
One platform. Six jobs covered.
Your staff and the AI agents share the same regional knowledge layer: verified businesses, safety rules, seasonal info, local expertise. The agents do the heavy lifting. Your team stays in the loop.

Hours
Back in your team’s week
No more copy-pasting listings. No more answering the same questions. No more manual content gap reports.
The foundation
Every answer is grounded in your region’s own knowledge.
Operator listings, guest reviews, weather and tides, local events, search demand, website content, staff expertise, and strategy documents all flow into one shared knowledge layer. Your team and the AI agents draw from the same verified data. Nothing is hallucinated. Everything traces back to a source your team controls.
Regional Knowledge Layer
One verified data layer. Your staff and AI agents draw from the same source.
Under the hood
Everything your team needs. Nothing they don’t.
Each agent has its own view so you can see exactly what it’s doing. Data sources refresh automatically. Configuration is yours to control. Monitoring tells you when something needs attention.

Your team stays. They get backup.
Your staff are promoted, not replaced.
Your people know the region, the operators, and the community. No AI replaces that. But they shouldn’t spend their days copy-pasting listings and answering the same questions. The AI team takes the grind off their plate so they can do what they’re best at.

The big players are moving
They spent millions. You don’t have to.
National tourism organisations are pouring seven-figure budgets into AI readiness. Over 120 European DMOs have joined AI programmes. Regional Destination Marketing Organisations shouldn’t have to wait for that to trickle down.
Switzerland Tourism: AI chatbot combining rail timetables, weather, and slope conditions
Brand USA: AI trip planning in 8 languages across AmericaTheBeautiful.com
Destination Canada: Unified 230 datasets across 5,100 regions
Illinois: ‘Big Lincoln’ AI chatbot, error rate from 15% to 2%, runs in 50 languages
We built the same capability for regional DMOs. No committee. No 18-month roadmap. No seven-figure budget.
Common questions
What DMOs ask us.
What is an AI agent for tourism?
A digital staff member with one job. It works in the background, follows rules you set, and reports back. You review the output and approve what goes live. The TourismTribe AI team has seven agents, each handling a different part of destination management: answering visitor questions, creating content, auditing operator data, analysing gaps, learning from visitor patterns, generating seasonal content, and monitoring AI accuracy.
How is this different from a chatbot?
A chatbot answers questions. That’s it. Our system also monitors what external AI platforms say about your region, scrapes operator data weekly, creates social and blog content, detects content gaps, and learns from visitor patterns. The seven agents work together and feed each other information.
What languages does it support?
Alfred, the visitor concierge, answers questions in 12+ languages. Visitors can ask in their own language and get accurate, locally verified answers back.
How long does setup take?
Hours, not months. We scrape your region’s Google Business data, load your existing knowledge (safety rules, seasonal info, local expertise), and configure the agents. No 6-month implementation. No migration project.
What data do I need to provide?
Your region’s operator list, any existing knowledge resources (safety info, seasonal rules, FAQs), and your brand voice preferences. The system scrapes Google Business profiles automatically. The more local knowledge you add, the better the agents perform.
What if the AI makes a mistake?
Nothing goes live without your approval. Content drafts sit in a review queue. Visitor answers are grounded in your verified knowledge bank, not general internet data. You set the safety rules and the agents follow them.
Will this replace my team?
No. Your staff handle strategy, community relationships, partnerships, and crisis communications. The AI team handles the repetitive work: answering the same visitor questions, checking operator listings, writing first drafts, monitoring AI accuracy. Your people get time back for the work that matters.
How does AI accuracy monitoring work?
Iris, the sentinel agent, runs monthly checks against ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. She asks them about your region and compares the answers to your verified knowledge. When they get something wrong, like recommending a closed business or missing a safety warning, she flags it and Leo creates corrective content.
What operators need to do?
Nothing, ideally. Argus scrapes their Google Business profiles every week and flags stale data. Operators get an automated nudge when something needs updating. They don’t need to learn new software or log into anything.
Is this only for Australian DMOs?
We’re launching first with Australian regional DMOs. The system handles Australian-specific knowledge like stinger season, 4WD permit requirements, school holiday schedules by state, and tide safety. The platform can be configured for any region.
How do I know if it’s working?
Flo sends a weekly briefing: visitor questions answered, content created, operator health scores, content gaps detected, and AI accuracy trends. You see exactly what the agents did and what changed.
Is my data secure?
Your region’s knowledge stays yours. The system uses your verified data to answer questions, not general internet scraping. Operator data comes from their public Google Business profiles. Content goes through your approval queue before publishing.
What is the 5-Day Outlook?
A daily auto-generated page showing weather, tides, swell, UV, sunrise and sunset, and local events for your region. It generates at midnight every night with zero manual work. You can share it with operators, embed it on their websites, or download a PDF. Coastal regions also get tide times and swell data from marine forecasting services.
What is the Regional Knowledge Layer?
A single verified data layer that all seven agents and your staff draw from. Ten data sources feed into it: Google Business profiles, your website content, local events, weather and tides, your staff’s knowledge bank, operator Instagram posts, operator websites, guest reviews, search demand data, and uploaded strategy documents. Nothing the agents produce is hallucinated. Everything traces back to a source your team controls.
What does Coco do?
Coco is the seasonal content agent. She tracks what’s coming up in your region: school holidays, stinger season, whale watching season, local festivals, public holidays. She triggers content and visitor answers that match what’s actually happening right now, not generic advice from six months ago.
Can I control what data sources are connected?
Yes. The system status view shows three areas: Data Sources, Configuration, and Monitoring. You control which sources are active, set your voice profile, chat rules, content goals, and prompt templates. Data sources refresh automatically but you decide what feeds the system.
How does content generation work?
Leo, the content agent, draws from your Regional Knowledge Layer: real guest reviews, operator data, local events, and your brand voice settings. He writes social posts and blog drafts grounded in verified local knowledge, not generic AI output. Everything sits in your review queue. Nothing publishes without your approval.
What is Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO)?
AEO is making sure AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity give accurate answers about your region. Unlike traditional SEO which targets Google search results, AEO targets the AI-generated answers that increasingly replace clicks. Iris, our sentinel agent, monitors what these platforms say about your destination and flags when they get it wrong.
Where does the weather and tide data come from?
Weather data comes from the Bureau of Meteorology via API. Tide and swell data comes from marine forecasting services. Local events are collected from tourism and council websites in your region. All data refreshes automatically every day.
Want early access? We’re almost ready.
We’re launching soon for a small group of Australian DMOs. If you want to be in the first round, leave your details and we’ll be in touch when it’s ready for your region.
